The agent of in-demand Lazio winger Antonio Candreva has revealed that he could leave the Stadio Olimpico at the end of the season.
It has been recently reported that the likes of Inter and Barcelona are both interested in acquiring the Italian’s services, and his agent has now admitted that the player may well ask to be transferred in the summer.
“In the summer it is possible that his relationship with Lazio could come to an end and he may ask to be sold at the end of the year,” said Federico Pastorello to Il Messagero.
However, Pastorello did add that the 28-year-old is still fully committed to the Biancocelesti and that he does not necessarily want to leave in the forthcoming January window.
“Candreva is 100% focused on playing for Lazio,” he concluded. “For now he wants to stay with the club.”
Since joining the Roman club in 2012, Candreva has gone on to make 134 Serie A appearances, scoring 34 league goals.
