bacca-niang_1b458aaCarpi coach Fabrizio Castori has no complaints after defeat to AC Milan in the Coppa Italia quarter finals.

Goals from Carlos Bacca and M’Baye Niang gave a relieved Sinisa Mihajlovic a much needed confidence boost.

“We can’t complain about being eliminated at this stage,” the Carpi boss began in his interview with SportItalia.

Matteo Mancosu scored for the visitors, but Marco Borriello was absent, fuelling talk of an imminent departure.

“[Marco] Borriello isn’t a problem, but we must get back to focusing on the pitch and our game,” he continued.

“We must depend on players with certain characteristics, we can still escape relegation.”

Carpi are 19th in the Serie A table after winning only three of their 19 matches, residing on 14 points.

The Rossoneri meanwhile will face either Spezia or Alessandria in the semi-final for a place in the final.
