Ashley Cole RomaAshley Cole has parted ways with Roma after agreeing to terminate his contract with the club, leaving him free to seek out a new adventure.

Despite having joined the Giallorossi in the summer of 2014, Cole has only made a total of 11 appearances in Serie A since his arrival, having been frozen out of the squad by former coach Rudi Garcia.

According to the latest edition of Il Tempo, the 35-year-old has now found an agreement with the club over the consensual termination of his contract, bringing an end to his time in the Italian capital.

Believed to have been unhappy with his performances and lifestyle off the pitch, the Lupi are said to have pushed the defender to leave the club ever since the start of the season.

The former Arsenal and Chelsea star is now expected to fly over to the United States in order to sign a deal with Major League Soccer side, Los Angeles Galaxy, whom he has reportedly held talks with over the past few weeks.
