Mario Suarez FiorentinaFiorentina look set to depart with midfielder Mario Suarez, after Premier League side Watford have raised their offer to capture the Spaniard.

The 28-year-old has found life difficult during his debut season in Italy, and is now seemingly ready to jump ship to England.

According to SportItalia, the Hornets have tabled an offer of €5.5 million, including bonuses to pry the former Atletico Madrid man from Florence and it is now expected that the Viola will accept the aforementioned offer.

Despite signing as recently as the summer transfer window, Suarez has made only eight Serie A appearances this season, scoring just one solitary goal in a home win over Frosinone.

The midfielder could join the likes of Giuseppe Rossi with a January exit, and also be a part of a long line of players who have represented both Fiorentina and Watford, including Victor Ibarbo, Valon Behrami and Jose Holebas.
