Zarate (West Ham)Fiorentina have reportedly come to an agreement with West Ham United to sign Mauro Zarate.

The forward is yet to agree to personal terms on a return to Italy after representing Lazio between 2009 and 2013 but a deal seems near.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, the two clubs have reached an agreement  over a sale although there are two possible options on how a transfer could be conducted.

The Viola would prefer to sign the 28-year-old on a permanent basis for just over €2 million or they could bring him in initially on loan before making the deal permanent in June for the same fee.

Zarate has previously expressed interest in moving to the Stadio Artemio Franchi although the details are still to be ironed out.

The Argentine has made 15 Premier League appearances and scored three goals for the Hammers during the 2015-16 season
