Fredy Guarin has officially completed a move from Inter to Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua.

The midfielder flew to Spain on Wednesday to meet with representatives from the club in Marbella, where the side are currently training as part of their pre-season preparations.

Guarin put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal with the wealthy club, which will see him rake in €7 million each year.

The transfer fee itself is reported to be around €5.4 million up front, with some further fees required should the player meet certain bonus criteria.

Inter has been the home of Guarin for four years, after the player made the move to the city of Milan in 2012 from Portuguese giants Porto.

To date, Guarin is yet to put his hands on any trophies for Inter, although that could all change this year with the Nerazzurri in the hunt for a Serie A title.
