hernanes juventusAfter a difficult start to the season, Juventus midfielder Hernanes believes he is finally settling in at his new club thanks to his newfound versatility.

The Brazilian joined the Turin outfit in the summer from Serie A rivals Inter, though initially struggled to nail down a spot in the starting lineup, a problem which he puts down as having to learn an entirely different role to that which had been promised.

“I arrived at Juventus to play as a playmaker, but in the end, I have only been in that role three times,” Hernanes told Sky Sport Italia.

“Some players would not find it such a good thing because normally you have to secure your position and then improve in that particular role over time, but not me.

I have always been able to adapt, I have even been able to play in front of the defence for the coach.

“I can play in numerous positions and now I feel that I adapted to my new role almost 100 per cent. At first, things didn’t look so positive, but now I’m living life well with Juve.”
