Inter and Chelsea are reportedly battling it out for the signature of Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi as the January transfer window nears its end.

The 30-year-old, whose current contract with PSG is set to expire in June, has been steadily linked to both sides since last summer and it seems he may finally make a move to one of the clubs in the near future, though there is no clear front-runner to land him.

According to Le 10 Sport, the Argentina international’s representatives have met with executives from both Inter and Chelsea in recent days, but the player’s future still remains up in the air.

Reports also suggest that PSG have no intentions of letting the forward go this winter and would instead prefer to wait until his contract runs out this summer.

Lavezzi has scored two goals in his 16 Ligue 1 appearances this term thus far.
