Ranocchia - Napoli v InterInter defender Andrea Ranocchia is unsure about a move to Premier League outfit Norwich City after the Serie A leaders accepted a bid for his services.

The Canaries are fighting relegation after being promoted back to the top-flight in 2015 and are ready to bolster their defence with Ranocchia’s experience in January, offering the Italian a sizeable contract to join the 15th-placed side.

However, Sky Sport Italia believe that the former Nerazzurri captain is not convinced by a switch to East Anglia and would prefer to stay in Italy and move to Serie A side Bologna.

Nevertheless, Roberto Mancini’s side have accepted a €9 million plus-bonuses offer, with Norwich offering Ranocchia a €3.5m yearly salary.

It is clear that the centre-back’s future lies away from the Stadio Meazza, out of his 10 appearances in the league this season only one has been as a starter and many fans believe he is not capable of leading the club to the Scudetto.
