Inter have made Sampdoria midfielder Roberto Soriano their number one target and are willing to go to extreme lengths to capture his signature.

With reports suggesting star man Fredy Gaurin is close to a move away, the Nerazzurri are desperate to bring in immediate reinforcements in the middle of the park and have now reignited their pursuit of the 24-year-old.

According to Sportmediaset, the club were originally hoping to land Sampdoria’s Fernando, though have since been told that the player is going nowhere. As a result, they have now turned to long-term target Soriano and are willing  to splash out €10 million for the Italian.

However, with Blucerchiati president Massimo Ferrero only willing to let Soriano go for a substantially higher fee, out of favour defenders Andrea Ranocchia and Dodo may be thrown in to sweeten the deal.

Both have failed to make an impact at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this season, the could be deemed important additions to the Samp roster.
