Assane Gnoukouri - InterInter have upped their interest in Udinese full-back Silvan Widmer, with the 19-year-old midfielder Assane Demoya Gnoukouri set to be exchanged in the deal that could bring the Swiss to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Nerazzurri have been long-term admirers of the Switzerland international, with the club looking to lure Widmer to the San Siro before the end of the transfer window.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the club are willing to include 19-year-old midfield prodigy Gnoukouri in the deal that would secure the full-back’s signature.

Gnoukouri burst onto the scene with a commanding performance in last season’s Derby della Madonnina but has found opportunities sparse under Roberto Mancini this term.

The source reports that the midfielder would join up with the Zebrette on a temporary basis initially, with an option to buy at the end of his deal.

Neither Martin Montoya nor Daniele D’Ambrosio have impressed sufficiently in the right-back slot for Inter and Mancini would be willing to include the Ivorian in a swap deal to reinforce at full-back.
