Juventus are believed to be on the verge of signing Sport Club Internacional and Brazil Under-17 international full-back Rogerio.

The 17-year-old will turn 18 in January and has already been labeled as the successor to the likes of Real Madrid’s Marcelo and Juventus’s Alex Sandro.

According to TuttoJuve, the Bianconeri are very close to sealing a deal for the left-back and possibly sealing the future of the left-back position in their squad for a number of years to come.

Currently, Patrice Evra is the club’s first-choice left-back with Alex Sandro deputising when needed, however Evra is currently 34-years-old and in the twilight of his career.

As a result, if signed Rogerio would probably play second-fiddle to Alex Sandro or go out on loan to gain experience before appearing for the Juventus first-team.
