Andrea Poli AC MilanJuventus are weighing up a move to sign AC Milan midfielder Andrea Poli.

The Serie A champions endured a very bad start to the campaign, but have since found their feet and have won ten Serie A matches in a row. The climb in the standings has reignited the Bianconeri’s chances in the title race. Their priority now is to sign a midfielder.

According to Tuttosport, the club could look at making a shock move to sign AC Milan midfielder Andrea Poli. The idea is to sign him in the summer, but it is not out of the question the Bianconeri could make an approach for the player in the final days of this transfer window.

Giuseppe Marotta and Massimiliano Allegri are admirers of the Italian and with the 26-year-old not receiving enough time on the pitch at Milan, it is believed that he is intrigued by the prospect of  a move to Turin.

Poli’s contract currently expires in 2017 and with the midfielder unlikely to agree a new contract, Milan will find themselves forced to sell him or risk losing him on a free transfer to join a direct rival, as was the case with Andrea Pirlo.

There is speculation that the Rossoneri would ask for Martin Caceres in return. The situation for the Juventus defender, tracked by the likes Roma, Inter, Napoli, Liverpool and Monaco, will be clearer in the next few days once his agent has arrived in Italy.
