New Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has apparently vetoed the sale of midfielder Isco.

Los Blancos were previously willing to enter negotiations with interested parties regarding the Spain international, but after the dismissal of former coach Rafael Benitez the situation has changed.

With a new coach comes new plans and Zidane is currently planning on using Isco regularly, Marca report.

Juventus and AC Milan will now have to look elsewhere in their attacking midfielder hunt after this latest setback.

The two sides will be missing out on a talented playmaker who has appeared 126 times in a Real Madrid shirt, and who is expected to start Zidane’s first match in charge on the weekend.

Isco has been a continental fixture for the club, appearing in all six Champions League fixtures this season, and 11 during the last campaign.
