Roma owner James Pallotta has welcomed the return of coach Luciano Spalletti, saying he believes the Italian will be able to bring success to the club.
Spalletti was hired to replace former coach Rudi Garcia after the Frenchman oversaw a run of form which has left the Giallorossi seven points off league leaders Napoli.
“We are delighted to welcome back to Roma Luciano Spalletti.” said Pallotta to Roma’s official website.
“He is a winning coach, who has a number of honours to his name. We look forward to working together to bring Roma to where we deserve to be.”
During his previous spell at the club Spalletti managed to lead the Lupi to two Coppa Italia titles and two consecutive second-place finishes. He also won one Supercoppa Italiana.
