Lazio coach Stefano Pioli was pleased to see some more consistency from his team after the 4-1 thrashing of Chievo.
The Biancocelesti boss also spoke about Danilo Cataldi, who scored, praising his qualities and announcing that he can only get better.
“We have had a good points average in recent games,” Pioli told Premium Sport.
“It was important to win to achieve consistency and climb the table.
“In the last two games we conceded every time we gave the opponents a chance, we have to be more careful.
“We played with great generosity against a difficult opponent, we stayed lucid and reacted well.”
The Lazio coach also singled out Cataldi for special praise.
“He has qualities and I am happy he scored, it is useful for him,” Pioli went on.
“He is working hard and like others he has suffered some difficult moments. He can get better in every part of his game, as is normal for a youngster.”
