Roma are reportedly on the verge of landing Barcelona youngster Maoudo Diallo on a permanent basis in the coming days.

The 16-year-old centre back joined the Giallorossi’s Primavera team back in July 2015, impressing his Lupi peers while on tour with the club in the United States last summer and training with both the youth and first teams since then, but will now make his full move to the capital city club official.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, the young Senegalese talent will technically complete his move to Roma for free, though Barcelona will collect 20 per cent of any fees made from his sale in the future.

It is yet to be determined if Diallo, who is currently valued at around €50,000, will begin training with the first team under new coach Luciano Spalletti following the completion of his transfer.
