Angelo Ogbonna West HamRoma are reportedly interested in bringing back to Italy, West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna.

The Giallorossi have struggled defensively this season conceding 23 goals in 20 league games and could also be about to lose Leandro Castan on loan to another club, perhaps in Brazil.

According to Tuttosport, Ogbonna, who used to play for Juventus, is on the Lupi’s shortlist of defensive reinforcements and could be bought for around €11 million.

However, the Hammers may be reluctant to sell the Italian international as he has become a first-team regular, making 15 appearances in the league this season.

Furthermore, Ogbonna only moved to London last summer and has helped West Ham to sixth place in the Premier League after an impressive start to coach Slaven Bilic’s tenure.

Last season the 27-year-old made 25 appearances for Juventus as the Old Lady lifted the Serie A title.
