Sampdoria FernandoBrazilian midfielder Fernando has been touted for a potential move to Inter from Serie A side Sampdoria.

The Nerazzurri could lose Fredy Guarin or Marcelo Brozovic in January which could put their Scudetto fight into doubt, thus coach Roberto Mancini is likely to seek reinforcements.

As reported by Sport Italia, Samp man Fernando has emerged as a target after Inter decided against reinforcing their right-back options, having been linked with Gregory van der Wiel of Paris Saint-Germain and Sassuolo’s Sime Vrsaljko.

23-year-old Brazil international Fernando joined the Liguria club for €8 million after a productive couple of seasons in Ukraine with Shakhtar Donetsk, but finds himself part of a Blucerchiati side who struggled to break out of lower mid-table in the early months of the campaign under Walter Zenga before a slight upturn in form under new coach Vincenzo Montella.
