Ventura TorinoFollowing an exciting 4-2 triumph over Frosinone at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday, Torino coach Giampiero Ventura was relieved to see the Granata end a four game winless streak.

Ciro Immobile kicked off his loan spell with a smile as he converted an early penalty kick, while Andrea Belotti scored twice before the first half and Marco Benassi removed any doubt with a goal late in the second half.

“It was nice to find the victory that was missing for the last three Sundays,” Ventura told Sky Sport Italia after the match.

“I hope that these three points will bring us peace, the final period of the match was stressful for us.”

The coach then lauded the impact felt from former Granata Capocannoniere Ciro Immobile, while also sharing his hope to maintain a positive connection with the fans.

“Immobile has brought not only his quality on the pitch but also a calmness in the dressing room,” he said.

“He works well with his teammates and takes his opportunities.

“We need our fans, I hope that the peace made between them and Fabio Quagliarella can also made with Torino. We want the joy to return to our fans, as we’ve seen recent seasons.”
