ColantuonoAfter losing 4-1 to Palermo, Stefano Colantuono confirmed that Udinese are going into a retreat following their third defeat in a row.

Colantuono admitted that the team management were already talking about a retreat before the heavy defeat in Sicily  and discussed the delicate period his team is experiencing, having won only once since the beginning of the year and conceding eight goals in the last two matches.

“[Now] is not the moment to talk about the transfer market, but rather we should look within ourselves,” said Colantuono to RAI Sport

“We need to start over again from where we were 15 days ago because we showed that we can do good.

“We were a different team and a grittier one. It’s always a fatal error to lower your guard.”

Udinese are currently 15th in the league, six points clear of 17th-placed Carpi.
