Premier League side Watford have expressed an interest in the signature of Fiorentina midfielder Mario Suarez.
The Spaniard only recently joined the Italian side this past summer, in a deal which saw defender Stefan Savic move to Atletico Madrid. The midfielder arrived in Italy expecting to be a crucial player to the side, but coach Paulo Sousa has decided to look to other options in midfield this season.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Watford are actively interested, with their coach Quique Sanchez Flores an admirer of the 28-year-old. It is believed that he would like to sign the former Atletico Madrid man on a loan deal.
It has been reported that the London club could prepare an offer for La Viola in the next few days.
Suarez has only managed to make nine club appearances in Serie A this season, scoring one goal.
