The January transfer campaign is yet to really take off for the Nerazzurri as they have faced complications with a number of potential sales.
One such player is Fredy Guarin who has been mulling over a move to China for over a week and Zanetti was asked to address the situation.
“The situation with Guarin is not easy,” Zanetti told Premium Sports.
“We are all trying to come to a conclusion, there may be news for you shortly.”
The club are trying to raise funds for a number of new additions, with Sampdoria’s Eder being one of the more publicized options.
“Eder is a great player but he is Sampdoria’s property so we cannot speak of him at the moment,” Zanetti noted.
Thus far Inter have only managed to work a loan deal with Sampdoria for left-back Dodo and have terminated their contract with defender Nemanja Vidic.
The Beneamata have also reportedly shown strong interest in Eder’s teammate Roberto Soriano as well as Paris Saint-Germain’s Ezequiel Lavezzi and former player Rolando, who is currently of Marseille.
