Abate: AC Milan are in peak condition

AC Milan defender Ignazio Abate has admitted coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has the Rossoneri squad in peak physical condition ahead of their clash against Torino at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Serie A on Saturday evening.

The 29-year-old full-back has recently returned from injury and has targeted victory over the Granata to continue Milan’s quest for European football next season.

“Compared to other years we work with different intensity during the week,” Abate told reporters during his pre-match media duties.

“In the aspect of the physical condition we are second to none. The match against Napoli is over and we have to think about the next game. We have to play the game in the right spirit and make sure we take our chances. A win tomorrow is crucial.”
