AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic exploded at forward Mario Balotelli after the full-time whistle in his side’s 2-1 win over Genoa on Sunday afternoon.
Mihajlovic accused the Italian of laziness after the Rossoblu halved the deficit in stoppage time through Alessio Cerci.
“We should’ve scored a third goal and not risked at the end,” Mihajlovic told Mediaset Premium after the result.
“It is also my fault, as those who don’t sacrifice themselves for the team to the 94th minute will no longer set foot on the field.
“It wasn’t just Balotelli, there were another two or three as well as him, they know who I’m talking about.”
The Rossoneri coach was seen hurling expletives at Balotelli as he trudged down the tunnel at full-time, only to be restrained by the fitness coach Antonio Bovenzi.
