Balotelli kisses AC Milan crestWhen Mario Balotelli’s loan with Milan finishes at the end of the season, Liverpool will look to off-load the striker permanently.

The Italian international has struggled for goals with both the Merseyside giants and the Rossoneri scoring just twice in the last two seasons.

The Liverpool Echo report that with Milan unlikely to activate the clause in Balotelli’s contract that would see him stay in Italy, he would return to England in the summer.

As new coach Jurgen Klopp has little or no interest in the striker, who would struggle to fit in with his high-intensity style of football, an immediate transfer out of Anfield is the most likely option at that point.

There is thought to be interest in Balotelli in both Turkey and China, and with the Asian league flush with riches, there is a possibility that Liverpool might be able to demand a significant fee for the former Inter man.
