Serie A giants AC Milan have reportedly rejected an offer from Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande for Luiz Adriano.

The 28-year-old has made just nine Serie A appearances this season, scoring only three times. The Brazilian international has also made three appearances in Coppa Italia competition but has fallen out of favour under Sinisa Mihajlovic.

As per TuttoMercatoWeb, the striker was the subject of a formal offer from Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande, but Milan rejected the bid.

The Rossoneri’s inability to find a proper replacement for Adriano prompted them into refusing the offer despite of their willingness to offload the Brazilian.

Luiz Adriano has witnessed a supposed move to another Chinese club Jiangsu Suning fall through already.

The forward joined Milan this past summer from Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk, for a fee in the region of €8 million.
