Arturo Vidal - JuventusBayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has admitted that he misses his former club Juventus, though remains determined to get one over on his previous employers when they face off in the Champions League round of 16.

The Chilean joined Bayern in the summer after four years with the Bianconeri and will find himself back in Turin sooner than expected as the two sides go head to head on Tuesday evening.

“Of course I miss Juventus,” the 28-year-old told Tz.

“I spent four wonderful years there in which a certain affection developed between me and the club, as well as the fans.

“I also miss many of my former team-mates, especially [Martin] Caceres and [Gianluigi] Buffon, whom I still talk with often.

“I still have a good relationship with everyone, and I will be glad to see them before the match.

“However, I now defend the colours of Bayern Munich and I will give everything to my new team.

“Hopefully we can win both games and advance to the Champions League quarter finals.”
