Villarreal defender and former AC Milan player Daniele Bonera has said his side must get a positive result in the home leg of their Europa League last 32 tie against Napoli.
The Partenopei have been very impressive this season, both defensively and offensively in Serie A and in the Europa League, and Bonera believes the Spaniards must have an advantage to take into the away leg.
“It will be tough for both teams, obviously I think they will show great respect to Villarreal,” said Bonera before the match.
“We will play to win, we’re in good shape and feel good on the field, will try to play well to get the victory, because in Naples it will be really tough to win.
“Napoli are strong in attack and in defence, the club has big ambitions.”
