Torino CarpiCarpi coach Fabrizio Castori was pleased with his side’s 0-0 draw away to Torino.

The Biancorossi failed to register a single shot on target but were bailed out by a stellar performance from Vid Belec who saved a late Maxi Lopez penalty.

“This is a very important point for us, especially after losing three consecutive matches,” Castori told reporters after the match.

“We earned this result by playing with determination and we must continue to play this way if we want to survive.

“Torino left us with some space to exploit but we were unable to capitalize.

“What matters most, however, is being able to gain a point away from home.”

The draw has brought the Biancorossi one point closer to safety, now five points behind 17th-place Sampdoria and Castori believes in his side’s chances of survival.

“We are still alive and will continue to fight until the end,” the 61-year-old concluded.
