Bologna coach Roberto Donadoni is dismayed at his side’s wastefulness after the Rossoblu drew 0-0 with Palermo on Sunday.
Bologna had a number of chances to take the lead in the match but they were denied by an in-form Josip Posavec in the Rosanero goal.
“If we’d had a little bit more belief and determination in the last third we could have won today.” said Donadoni to Sky Sport Italia after the match.
“We tried to win and we controlled the game well, but when you face a side low on confidence you have to be more clinical.
“However, the boys are aware we have this issue in front of goal so that is positive. I fielded a strong team today but we have a great squad and this is why we are doing so well.
“Although we didn’t get the result today we showed a lot of character and charisma, and we must not lose this. ”
