eicester City’s Yohan Benalouane could be set to return to Serie A on deadline day, with Fiorentina keen to add depth to their defensive ranks.
Having left Atalanta to join the Premier League side in the summer, Benalouane has since struggled for playing time, making just nine appearances for the Foxes.
As reported by Sky Sport Italia, La Viola are looking to offer the Tunisian international a Serie A return, with their attempts to bring in Genoa duo Armando Izzo and Sebastian De Maio looking increasingly unlikely.
Benalouane is thought to be open to a return to Italy in order to find increased playing time and could complete a move to the Firenze side before the closure of the transfer window.
Before leaving Italy, Benalouane played 47 times for La Dea, as well as enjoying spells at both Parma and Cesena respectively.
