Napoli star Marek Hamsik has rued his side’s luck following the 1-1 draw to AC Milan on Monday night.
The Partenopei failed to hold onto their lead against the Rossoneri, with Giacomo Bonaventura equalising for the visitors minutes after Lorenzo Insigne made it 1-0.
“The result is disappointing, we dominated the entire game,” he told the club’s official website.
“We wanted to fill the San Paolo with joy, but we lacked luck – it’s a shame we failed to win this game.
“We’ve now shifted our focus to the Europa League tie against Villareal.”
Maurizio Sarri’s men are currently second in the Serie A table, two points off table-toppers Juventus.
