Inter legend Ronaldo believes the Nerazzurri will recover from their recent disappointments and make a fist of the race for Champions League football.
Ronaldo will be in attendance on Saturday evening as Inter welcome Sampdoria to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza after last weekend’s 2-1 defeat at Fiorentina.
“I saw that the Nerazzurri had a great start to the season,” he told Calciomercato.it.
“Now there has been a decline, but they will recover.”
Juventus leapfrogged Napoli atop Serie A with a crucial 1-0 win at the Juventus Stadium last weekend and Ronaldo believes the Old Lady can rely upon a wealth of Italian experience.
“It will be a good fight to the end,” Ronaldo added.
“Juve, though, can count on the strongest Italian player: Buffon.”
The Nerazzurri currently sit four points adrift of the Champions League places.
