allegri juventusJuventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has rubbished talk suggesting that he is prepared to take over at English Premier League side Chelsea next season.

Following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho in mid-December last year, the 48-year-old, who led the Bianconeri to the Serie A and Coppa Italia double last season, has been touted as favourite for the job at the Stamford Bridge outfit.

“There is nothing true about the rumours,” Allegri told reporters, whilst present at the Amici dei Bambini event.

“I cannot confirm or deny something that just isn’t true.

“At the moment, I just want to focus on winning silverware at the end of the season, which will not be easy.

Suggestions had been made that the Italian has been preparing for a move to the English capital by familiarising himself with the language.

“I’ve been studying English since my time at Cagliari,” he retorted.

“I do it just for myself.”

Juventus are now preparing to take on Napoli in a top-of-the-table clash on February 13.
