Juventus midfielder suffers latest injury setback

Sami Khedira JuventusJuventus will be without midfielder Sami Khedira once again after the German picked up a thigh injury in their 4-0 win over Chievo on Sunday.

Khedira has a history on being injury prone, but after missing the first two months of the season with a thigh injury and the lion share of last season at Real Madrid, the German international had established himself in the Bianconeri’s midfield.

According to a statement released by the club, Khedira experienced pain in his right thigh during the game against the Flying Donkeys and after undergoing a scan it was determined the former Madrid man will miss two to three weeks.

This season Khedira has made 12 league starts in Serie A, scoring three times and creating a further three assists, one of which came in the 4-0 win over Chievo.
