AC Milan midfielder Juraj Kucka has thanked coach Sinisa Mihajlovic for the trust he has shown in him since his arrival in the summer.
The former Genoa midfielder orchestrated the Rossoneri’s victory over Inter in the Derby della Madonnina and has been key to their recent upturn in form.
“I am happy with the coach’s trust,” Kucka told Milan Channel ahead of his side’s clash with Udinese on Sunday afternoon.
“I always give my best to prove I can play as a holder for Milan, I thank him for the confidence.”
The 28-year-old admits that he was starstruck when he heard of Milan’s interest in the summer.
“Life is strange, everything happened so quickly,” he added.
“I was going to go to Turkey and instead I end up here, I’m very happy.
“Milan have always been my favorite team as a child.”
