ljajic interAdem Ljajic has revealed that he wishes to stay at Inter permanently once his current loan deal at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza expires at the end of the season.

The Serbian international initially signed for the Nerazzurri from Roma in the summer on a season-long loan, although the deal did include an option to buy and the 24-year-old is hopeful that the Inter board decide to retain his versatile services.

“Yes, I would like to remain at Inter, although it’s a bit too early to talk about that,” said Ljajic to the Inter Channel.

“Right now, the important thing is to do well. And then the club’s hierarchy will make a final decision at the end of the season.”

Ljajic has been a key player for Inter this campaign with 18 Serie A appearances, whilst also scoring two goals and making three assists. He has also scored one goal in two Coppa Italia appearances for the Italian giants.
