Regini – Sampdoria
Napoli has officially secured the services of Sampdoria defender Vasco Regini in a bid to strengthen their current Scudetto campaign.
The Partenopei have signed the 25-year-old on loan with an option to buy in the summer, joining the likes of Alberto Grassi from Atalanta and Vicenza’s Filip Raicevic.
A statement announcing the transfer was published on the club’s official website, with the versatile defender set to provide Maurizio Sarri additional options in defence while adding to the club’s squad depth.
The Cesena born full-back arrives at the Stadio San Paulo following a two-and-a-half year stint with the Blucerchiati during which he made a total of 78 appearances.
Regini has started 14 Serie A games this season with his last appearance for Samp coming against his new employers, in Napoli’s 4-2 victory at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
The left-back has also accrued a total of 17 caps across Italy’s Under-21 and Under-20 sides.
