Clubs such as Napoli had previously shown interest in the Partizan Belgrade player, and the Partenopei especially were assumed to be in pole position to sign the 21-year-old, before themselves loaning him out elsewhere for experience.
The Partenopei have been beaten by the Rossoblu, however,but the player will appear at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi for the the Flying Donkeys until the end of the current campaign.
Ninkovic has been with Partizan for the entirety of his career so far, after joining their senior squad in 2011, and has won three Serbian SuperLiga titles since then.
Along with second place in the Serbian Cup, Ninkovic has 17 goals and 16 assists in 121 games in all competitions for Partizan.
