Roma president James Pallotta has voiced his support for Giallorossi captain Francesco Totti, whilst also praising coach Luciano Spalletti.
Totti was recently dropped from the Lupi squad by Spalletti, after the 39-year-old had complained to the media about his lack of playing time. This has raised questions about his future considering Totti’s contract expires at the end of the season.
“I have no problems with Totti. I love him!” said Pallotta to Vocegiallorossa.it. “Spalletti is also a fantastic coach.”
The hedge fund manager was also asked about the level of communication he has with director of football Walter Sabatini and whether there would be news regarding plans for Roma’s new stadium.
“I see Sabatini every time I come to Rome. Regarding the stadium, this week there will be news.”
