Roma set to confirm signing of Brescia starlet
Roma look set to complete the signing of Brescia youngster Ismail H’Maidat, with the player to move to the Stadio Olimpico at the end of the season.
Though the signing is expected to be confirmed on Monday night, H’Maidat will spend the remainder of the 2015-16 campaign on loan at Serie B side Ascoli, before joining up with his new Giallorossi team-mates in the summer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed on Monday that the player will put pen to paper on a contract that will see him stay at the Eternal City side until 2020.
The 20-year-old, whose agent is Mino Raiola, joined Brescia in 2014 on a free transfer from Belgian giants Anderlecht.
Since joining the Italian side, the Moroccan has featured for the club on more than 40 occasions.
Roma have been battling it out with reigning Scudetto holders Juventus to sign the youngster.
