Financial figures released today by Roma appear to confirm the signing of Gerson from Fluminense.

Roma’s semi-annual account figures were released to the public after a shareholders’ meeting on Monday, and whilst the signing of Gerson was included another very important piece of information is that they are continuing to operate within Financial Fair Play parameters.

Included in the accounts was a €16.6 million transaction from the Giallorossi to Brazilian outfit Fluminense.

Also included were figures concerning Stephan El Shaarawy, Juan Iturbe and also Gervinho, which make for interesting analysis.

Il Faraone arrived in Rome for an initial fee of €1.4 million, it reveals, whilst the Lupi received €1.2 million from English team Bournemouth in return for the loan of Iturbe.

Gervinho’s move to China was a costly one for Hebei China Fortune, as they shelled out a hefty €18 million before bonuses.

Overall, Roma ended the period with a €3.4 million loss, although they still sit comfortably within FFP limits.
