Rudiger forced out of Roma training with injury

Rudiger Roma BATELuciano Spalletti’s Roma side continue their Serie A campaign with a trip to Carpi this Friday evening, with a collection of big names still yet to be confirmed for the footballing action due to fitness issues.

The Giallorossi trained on Wednesday, with a number of players undergoing personalised sessions to help them recover from their injury troubles, although defender Antonio Rudiger was forced to miss out.

As reported by Tuttomercatoweb.com, the Germany international skipped the session due to precautionary reasons, as he received a minor knock during the initial stages of the session.

On the positive side, injury-prone midfielder Kevin Strootman, completed his personalised training as scheduled, along with club captain Francesco Totti, who has also been plagued with injuries this season.

Vasilis Torosidis and Daniele De Rossi also followed their individual programs, as they both aim to recover from calf issues in time for the clash against the Biancorossi on Friday.
