Erick Thohir InterErick Thohir has insisted that he has no intention of selling Inter after speculation that the Indonesian wanted out.

The club had already released an official statement to distance the club from reports of a possible change in ownership.

“We are not for sale,” said Thohir to reporters.

“We have completed a great management structure with the arrival of Giovanni Gardini as chief football administrator.

“We have no intention of selling, I don’t want to sell any of my 70 per cent majority stake and I don’t know where these voices are coming from.

“We want to find partners in Asia, especially in China as a lot of clubs are doing such as Manchester City in England.”

The Nerazzurri owner also discussed the importance of improving the stadium to the club’s ambitions.

“With further delays on the refurbishment of the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, there is a risk that other teams like Roma will move ahead of us,” added Thohir.

“Juventus have made an extra €40 million in ticket sales since building their own stadium.

“It’s the road to follow.”
