Tottenham Hostpur attacker Erik Lamela relishes the chance to play against Fiorentina for a second year running and recognises the difficulties that his side will face.
The Viola knocked Tottenham out of the competition at the exact same stage last season, and Lamela believes his side have the ability to get their revenge.
“I’ve already won against Fiorentina when I was at Roma,” Lamela told Spurs’ official website.
“Now things have changed. I am with Tottenham and we are a very good team, so we need to play in the same way that we have been doing recently.
“It will be a difficult game, we know that from last season when we played against them.
“Of course, we have to win because we want to keep going as far as possible in the Europa League. It’s important for us to continue in this competition.”
