AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has issued an ultimatum to Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol over the potential purchase of the club.
Reports have persisted for some time now that the 40-year-old is on the brink of purchasing the Milanese club but it has yet to come to fruition.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Berlusconi has informed Mr. Bee that he has until the end of the season to table a €480 million offer.
The source suggests that Bee has been hampered in his effort to attract investors to fund his offer after the collapse of the Chinese stock market.
A meeting reportedly took place between Berlusconi and a British consortium regarding a potential takeover of the club’s minority shares.
Should Mr. Bee’s offer fail to arrive before the campaign’s conclusion, Berlusconi will reportedly look elsewhere.
