Premier League club Newcastle United are reportedly after Torino captain Kamil Glik.
The 28-year-old Polish defender has been one of Torino’s leading performers this season, making a total of 28 appearances for the Turin based club. The centre half has made 148 appearances in Serie A for Torino and scored 12 goals too.
As reported by the Newcastle Chronicle, the Magpies are looking to add much needed steel to their defense by eyeing a move for Kamil Glik. Rafa Benitez’s men are set to undergo an adjustment and they are said to be firmly interested in the Torino skipper.
Glik joined Torino from fellow Italian club Palermo for a fee in the region of €300,000, before spending a season out on loan at Bari. A full Polish International, Glik has made as many as 37 appearances for the Polish National side.
