Roberto StelloneFrosinone coach Roberto Stellone believes his side were deserving of all three points in their 0-0 draw at home to Fiorentina.

A well fought match saw the Canarini hit the woodwork, whilst Nicola Leali put on an impressive show at the other end of the pitch to keep them in the game.

“It was a very intense match,” Stellone told Radio Rai.

“Both teams gave everything and fought for the win until the end.

“Obviously, we faced a strong team that dominated possession, yet despite this, we didn’t allow them any glaring chances.

“In the end, I think that we deserved more than just a goalless draw. We were stopped by some great saves from their goalkeeper [Ciprian Tatarusanu.]

The sole point leaves Frosinone still in the relegation zone in 19th place, however, Stellone maintains the result serves as a great boost of confidence.

“It’s a good point against a great team,” he concluded.

“The point helps out our morale and helps us stay in contention for beating the drop.”
