Belotti TorinoTorino coach Giampiero Ventura has lamented the referee’s decisions in Il Toro’s 4-1 to loss to Juventus in the Derby della Mole.

The Granata coach felt that one of Alex Sandro or Leonardo Bonucci should have been sent-off early in the first-half. Moreover, Maxi Lopez was controversially denied an equaliser by the offside flag.

It hurts to lose a derby.” said Ventura to Premium Sport. “We played against the team in first place so it was always going to be hard today.

“They deservedly took a 2-0 lead but after that the scoreline flatters them. Alex Sandro should have been sent-off so should have Bonucci, in the second-half it should have been 2-2 with Juventus down to 10 men.

“Juventus deserve respect they are an extraordinary team but today a lot of decisions went against us.

“How is it possible what we saw happen today? I never complain about referees but today was unacceptable. I trust Rizzoli, he is the best in the world and I respect him but how could he make those decisions. ”
